Marty Quell is a contemporary artist working across illustration, animation, painting, directing, writing and acting. Based in London, though raised in Ireland, of Mongolian origin. Training at the University of the Arts London.

Quell has been involved with Milktea’s Comedy Development BBC Lab and is currently in an artist residency at Meetfactory in Prague. His artistic endeavours reflect his current emotional state, delving into themes such as human conditioning, cultural conversations, and his perspective on today's social environment through complex visual layering.

Currently shooting a concept TV series called ‘Scratch’ and directing an ambitious theatre production, ‘Buffet Season’, under his production company, Afterlaugher.

In the development of a widespread art project, ‘Donny Tsar’, an expansive world created from a close-knit research journal, a ballpoint-penned sketchbook, to a one-person written theatrical production, ‘The World of Donny Tsar’, weaving in 3D blender exploration, explorative set design and a place of audience immersion.
